**Scott D'Amore is currently working a tour with All Japan Pro Wrestling and will be working the big Sumo Hall show coming up on August 31st, which is headlined by Suwama defending the Triple Crown against Taiyo Kea and Keiji Muto defending the IWGP Heavyweight Title against Hirooki Goto.

**Amidst rumors that she had been let go by the company, Layla El posted the following message on her MySpace page:

LAW MMA UPDATE

**The UFC announced yesterday that UFC 91 will take place on November 15th in Portland, Oregon at the Rose Garden with the only match being announced so far being a Lightweight bout with Kenny Florian taking on Joe Stevenson. The UFC has contacted Cheick Kongo about fighting Brock Lesnar on that date.

**The company also announced on Thursday that Georges St. Pierre will take on B.J Penn for the Welterweight Title on January 31st in Las Vegas, Nevada during Super Bowl weekend.

**The Head of Elite XC Fighter Opeations, Jeremy Lappen issued the following statement last night concerning the positive boldenone test for Elite XC Heavyweight Champion Antonio Silva:

 "We respect the California commission and the job they do. We always enjoy working with them and work very well together. The illegal use of steroids is a problem in all major sports, including mixed martial arts. We certainly do not condone the use of steroids.

 "But we also support, trust and have confidence in our fighter, Antonio Silva, who has denied ever taken any illegal substance, including steroids, and is prepared to challenge the results of the California Commission.

 "So until all the facts are known and a final decision is rendered, EliteXC will reserve making any further comments at this time.''

**Mike Van Arsdale is making a comeback to Mixed Martial Arts at the age of 43, signing with the American Fight League. Van Arsdale will fight on their November Pay Per View (no date has been formally announced) against a yet to be named opponent. Van Arsdale last fought in April of 2006 losing to Matt Lindland. The AFL has also signed former WWE performer Bobby Lashley and one of the top female fighters in the world, Tara Larosa, to their promotion.
