**John Cena is undergoing neck surgery today in Pittsburgh with Dr. Joseph Maroon. It is unknown if he is having neck fusion surgery, if he is, than that would mean that he will be out of action for approximately 12-months.

There was zero mention anywhere of Cena and WWE even considering the minimally invasive surgery that Kurt Angle had in April of 2003 under Dr. Hae Dong Jho - who is based in Pittsburgh, where Cena was today meeting with Dr. Maroon. Angle had lots of problems after the Dr. Jho surgery and had to have another surgery on his neck after taking a chair shot to the head when he came back in 2003.

**The "Smackdown" and ECW tapings take place in Pittsburgh tonight. The episode of ECW that will air tonight was taped last night in Wilkes-Barre and the show tonight will air next week. Here are the matches on ECW tonight:

*John Morrison Vs Matt Hardy

*The Miz Vs Evan Bourne

*Tommy Dreamer Vs Chavo Guerrero

*Mike Knox Vs Finlay

**TNA is in Orlando again tonight for the TV tapings, which will feature A.J Styles Vs Christian Cage with the winner getting the final slot in the TNA Title Match at "No Surrender".

**Mick Foley's contract with the WWE expires on Sunday and does not have a no compete clause, so he is a free man as of next Monday.

**Booker T. will join us this Sunday on The LAW at 11pm EST discussing a variety of topics including why he left the WWE, his role in TNA, the recent string of gimmick matches in TNA and much more.

**The WWE stock closed at $16.39 on Tuesday.

I'm thinking Cena's shelf life is limited. He seems to be getting serious injuries and he came back too soon from that last one earlier this year.

I won't miss Cena. I'm actually going to be glad I won't have to look at his hokey act for several months.

Maybe the WWE will actually use the time to push someone different for a change. And Bryan does bring up a good point about Cena being injury prone. So it's all the more reason to try.

No more "moves of doom" by cena for awhile? YAY, let's hope they give Punk a bigger role now.

He'll be out for "12"months. Ah, just kidding. Hope people don't expect him to be back soon like last time, this is obviously more serious.
And I would rather see the return of piledrivers to the ring before I saw another unprotected chair shot.

From Meltzer's website-- In great news for WWE, John Cena's surgery was a success today and the new prognosis is that he'll be able to return within two to four months. He didn't require fusion surgery, they just removed a fragment from his spinal cord that was blocking a nerve. Dr. Joseph Maroon told WWE.com that he was very positive about how the hour and a half operation went.

Hey guys I made a petition to get Dan "The Mouth" Lovranski removed from the airwaves, hopefully you guys can start making trouble in my neighborhood, I got in one little fight and my mom got scared, she said 'You're movin' with your auntie and uncle in Bel Air'. I whistled for a cab and when it came near, the license plate said fresh and it had dice in the mirror. If anything I can say this cab is rare, but I thought 'Now forget it' - 'Yo homes to Bel Air'. I pulled up to the house about 7 or 8, and I yelled to the cabbie 'Yo homes smell ya later'. I looked at my kingdom, I was finally there, to sit on my throne as the Prince of Bel Air.

The raven and company lawsuit against WWE over independent contractor status is quite interesting.I beleive if this actually gets to court the WWE will loose. Its a no brainer wrestlers aren' t independent contractors.I think the WWE strategy will be to drag the legal proceedings on and on in hopes of raven and comapny running out of money to continue the suit.if that doesn' t succeed I beleive the WWE will try to settle out of court with Raven and company.I can' t see WWE going to court because they know they would lose big.If by chance this goes to court and WWE loses expect mass firings and whoever is left being independent contractors as defined by the court .

why is raven all of a sudden filling a lawsuit with wwe since he hasn't work there in a lot of years? i think raven is running low on the moolah

the interesting part is it sounds like Raven is open to having other wrestlers join him and if that happens this could become huge

Hey does anyone know how Cena got that injury? Was it a specific incident or was it just taking bumps like a mad man three hundred nights a year?

although im sad that cena is injured - and it looks semi-serious, im glad that a big main eveter is out for a while - it will give raw some time to build more talent up, if they are sensible. that whole batista-cena thing was done too early anyways, and cena - JBL just flat out sucked.

Is anyone else have issues with some of the downloads? I can only get the first 20 or so minutes of the Dutch Mantel shoot. I just bought all four of the ROH compilation releases and they are fantastic. If you only get one though, get the Best in the World dvd. Great stuff. The Briscoes are sick. Hope they can get down south soon. Oh, and Gotthorm has less value than the used condom he has in his wallet.
