**John Cena underwent surgery yesterday for the herniated disc in his neck under Dr. Joseph Maroon in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The surgery was not fusion surgery, which would have kept Cena out of action for a year but instead took out a fragment from his spinal cord that caused a fragment to a nerve and he will be back in 2 -4 months. Cena was backstage at the "Smackdown" and ECW tapings last night in Pittsburgh after the surgery.

**In surgery news that doesn't that have the good news - Mr. Kennedy will undergo shoulder surgery this Friday with Dr. James Andrews for a torn labrum and rotator cuff damage and is expected to be out 4 -6 months.

**WWE "Raw" did a 2.84 rating on Monday night due to the show being on Sci-Fi with the U.S Open airing on the USA Network.

**There is a horrible interview on WWE.com conducted by Triple H with Lemmy Kilmister of Motorhead plugging his new album. Hunter calls the new album "Motorized" when it is actually "Motorizer" - this looked like the most bland 5-minute conversation you've ever read.

**Ring of Honor has announced that Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley will be working the October 24th and 25th shows in Hartford and Edison, New Jersey.

**Christy Hemme recently did a photo shoot for the U.K based "Loaded" magazine and I was able to do some hard nosed research to track down the photos for all of you predominantly male readers.

**We are looking for someone to do weekly TV reports for the website for TNA "Impact" - if you are interested please contact me at john@thefightnetwork.com.

LAW MMA UPDATE

**Brett Rogers sent out the written response of the year to Five Ounces of Pain.com today on Ken Shamrock getting the fight with Kimbo Slice instead of him. This is a must read and if Rogers can cut promos like this in the future, he will be a superstar.

**Strike Force Light Heavyweight Champion Bobby Southworth is off of the September 20th show at the Playboy Mansion. Southworth's opponent Renato ‘Babalu' Sobral will now fight Anthony Ruiz.

**Bas Rutten will be on Fight Network Radio tomorrow at 3pm EST on Sirius 98 Hardcore Sports Radio. We will also be joined by Dave Meltzer tomorrow at 3pm EST with Mauro Ranallo.

**Speaking of Bas Rutten, you have to check out this video put together by MTV Canada with Daryn Jones spoofing "El Guapo" and Bas' response to Jones.

I saw those clips about the spookf of BAS on MTV what most haven't seen unless they were watching MTV live is Bas actually called in via webcam and him and Daryn went at it verbally and it was classic. I'd love to Bas vs. Daryn lol!!!!!!

LOADED is the perfect title for that magazine because when I saw those pics of Christy Hemme, I LOADED on them.

Cena Back Sooner Than Expected? Boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

Any chance the LAW can get easier security questions, it took me three guesses to answer the last one.

I just read the interview on WWE.com. These guys are supposed to be friends, Lemmy pretty much blew off Triple H. I think that's great, what a horrible interview, obviously Hunter can't pull a decent interview out of this guy and they are to be friends.

Oh, I guess calling the album the wrong name is some what a pay back for not knowing the lyrics to their own song on the Wrestlemania ppv.

Has anyone ever wondered what the hell wrestlers do if they are in the middle of the match and have to go to the bathroom? You never know when a big shit is going to come on ya know. I heard Bam Bam Bigelow tell a story about being in a tag match in Mexico against Andre the Giant and Andre sat on his opponent, got diarea and shit all over the guy and the ring.

Triple H's interview with Lemmy reminds of the skit on Saturday Night Live where Chris Farley interviews Paul Mc Cartney.
Farley: He Remember when you were in The Beatles?
McCartney: Yes, Chris I do.
Farley: That was awesome.

I would like to say that John Pollock ,this was a waste of a report, your time and mine. Nobody cares about Triple H and some crap rockband interview and some overrated actor John Cena having neck surgery that thousands of people throughout the year go through. Why not report on stuff that people actually care about such as Chuck Liddell's training for his upcoming fight aganist Rashad Evans and other MMA related material that is real. You might as well be writing for some celebrity gossip column that no one cares about. I would rate your reporting skills a C and I would rate your radio show a D because of the lack of content and the overdose of filler that it is filled with. I do think that if you takes my points and experience into consideration you should improve on your reporting skills and the radio show your seldom participate in.

Wow. That Brett Rogers response was unbelievable. Somebody needs to get him to the WWE with that kind of promo. I will never be able to look at Kimbo again without thinking "Black Yeti".

Security Question: 3 + 3?
